The CIFIA GLOBAL JOURNAL (CGJ) is an online journal (ISSN 2582-6859), published by Cifia Global Research Center. CGJ is an Open Access Journal, in which writers/researchers/readers from all over the world can write, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link the full texts of the papers published by CGJ for personal use and sharing the knowledge with others if proper accreditation/citation of the original publication (CGJ) is given. The content of this Journal cannot be used for commercial purposes, like sale or making money in any format.
Review
Manuscripts submitted to CGJ will be assessed by the editorial team, who take all decisions based on an extensive and rigorous review process with the aim of high-quality publication. Peer reviewers for the journal are selected by the Managing Editor. All manuscripts are subjected to rigorous review. Generally, the identity of the peer reviewers is not revealed to the authors, and the identity of the authors is not revealed to the reviewers. The review process involves an objective assessment of the research and its significance and contribution to Muslim society.
Publication
The publication of articles should be based on original research aimed at the present-day readership. The research papers should have at least 10 references. Word Count between 3-7 thousand (excluding abstract and references).
The papers related to book reviews should be 2-3 thousand words (including references but excluding tables and figures).
CGJ does not accept papers that contain any material/ideas developed or created by another person without proper acknowledgement by the author. By submitting the paper the author is testifying that their work is original, and the references of other’s work/research has been properly cited. Please note that the use or re-use of one’s own published work without appropriate citation is also not encouraged.
Submission of papers
Full names and affiliations of all authors, and complete postal and email addresses are required.
The manuscript must have (i) Title, (ii) Abstract should contain a few sentences background of the work and conclusion not exceeding 200 words. (iii) Key words (not exceeding 7), (iv) Main Texts (Sections and subsections are not numbered. Footnotes are not allowed. Word count, 4,000 words. (v) All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa. References should be placed in alphabetical order at the end of the paper and should be in Roman script. (vi) Acknowledgements should follow immediately after the end of the main text.
Submission of a paper implies that the work has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract, a published lecture or academic thesis) and it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else.
An agreement to the declaration has to be submitted along with the papers. The Managing Editor reserves the right to make a final decision on publication, as well as, the right to make alterations.
Timeline of publication
Papers can be submitted at any time. These are reviewed in batches by the reviewers. Generally, the timeline is, (i) Within a week, the notification of the receipt will be e-mailed. (ii) The acceptance takes about 6 to 8 weeks and sometimes a little more than that. (iii) Revised submission takes about 4 weeks and final submission should take about 2 weeks. Authors will be notified in which Journal the paper will be published.
